Android Developer

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. The ideal candidate must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and must possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin programming languages.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs in existing applications.

Work with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements and use cases, and translate them into technical requirements and specifications.

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in mobile development.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.

Ensure the code is maintainable, scalable, and secure.

Implement unit tests and automated testing to ensure code quality and minimize errors.

Work with third-party APIs to integrate external services into mobile applications.

Participate in agile development methodologies, including daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

6months to 1 year of experience in Android development using Kotlin.

Experience with mobile application development using Android SDK, Android Studio, and related technologies.

Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.

Familiarity with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of software design patterns and architecture principles.

Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Experience with cloud technologies and services such as AWS or Google Cloud is a plus.
