Are you looking for an entry-level position that plays a pivotal role in maintaining an efficient and organized office environment? The Kandle Co. (Private) Limited is seeking an Office Boy, also known as an Office Assistant, to join our team.

Location: Kuri Road, Jinnah Ave, Islamabad

Department: Administration

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Reports to: Office Manager or Administrative Supervisor

Job Summary:

As an Office Boy/Office Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, tidiness, and functionality of our office space. Your role involves supporting office operations and enhancing the comfort of our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

General Office Maintenance: Keep the office premises clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Ensure all areas, including reception, meeting rooms, and common spaces, are presentable at all times.

Errands and Deliveries: Assist in running errands outside the office, such as purchasing office supplies, delivering documents, and handling packages from couriers or post offices.

Office Supplies: Monitor office supply levels and communicate replenishment needs to the administration. Distribute office supplies to employees as required.

Meeting Support: Set up meeting rooms for presentations and conferences, including arranging chairs, tables, and audio-visual equipment. Serve refreshments to meeting attendees when needed.

Mail and Courier Services: Collect and distribute incoming mail and packages. Prepare outgoing mail and packages for dispatch.

Document Handling: Assist with photocopying, scanning, and printing documents as requested by office staff. Assist with filing and organizing paperwork.

Kitchen and Pantry Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and pantry areas. Ensure coffee, tea, and other refreshments are stocked and readily available.

Visitor Assistance: Welcome visitors and provide assistance as needed, including directing them to the appropriate personnel or waiting areas.

Security Awareness: Monitor office security by overseeing entry and exit points. Report any security concerns or unauthorized personnel to the supervisor.

Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist with other office-related tasks and responsibilities as requested by office management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, and lifting.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with occasional outdoor errands.
  • May require some physical exertion, such as lifting and carrying.
