Jeeny is a mobile app designed to simplify daily commuting and transportation. Our goal is to connect you with your preferred means of transportation, providing accessibility, affordability, and flexibility to enhance mobility for everyone.
We are a collaborative endeavor involving MEIG (Middle East Internet Group), Rocket Internet, and IMENA. jeeny was founded in 2014 under the name Easy Taxi but underwent a transformation in 2016 to become jeeny, expanding its services beyond taxi booking. Currently, we operate in Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

The role involves aiding in the creation and upkeep of web applications, acquiring knowledge about software development best practices, migrations, updates, and contributing to the overall success of development projects. Below is a general job description for a PHP/Laravel Intern.
Responsibilities:
- Web Development: Assist in the development of web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Coding: Craft clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Feature Development: Collaborate with the development team to implement new features and functionalities according to project requirements.
- Bug Fixing: Identify and resolve issues in existing code, troubleshoot problems, and propose solutions.
- Front-End Integration: Integrate front-end components and templates into Laravel applications.
