Job Description:As a Video Editor Intern at Kyaas Studio, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of video editing and post-production. This internship is designed to provide you with hands-on training and exposure to various aspects of video editing.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting Senior Editors: Work closely with experienced video editors to assist in various editing tasks. This may include organizing footage, syncing audio, and making basic cuts.
Footage Management: Help manage and organize video assets, ensuring they are properly labeled, backed up, and easily accessible for editing projects.
Basic Editing: Learn and apply basic video editing techniques using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) under the guidance of senior editors.
Transitions and Effects: Assist in adding transitions, effects, and basic animations to video clips as instructed by senior editors.
Color Correction and Grading: Learn the basics of color correction and grading to help enhance video quality.
Audio Editing: Assist in basic audio editing tasks, such as cleaning up audio tracks and syncing audio with video.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the editing team and other interns to learn from their experiences and share insights.
Creative Input: Contribute creative ideas and suggestions to enhance the overall quality of video projects.
Learning and Growth: Proactively seek opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills in video editing through training and guidance from senior team members.
Requirements:
- A strong passion for video editing and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
- Basic understanding of video editing principles.
- Familiarity with video editing software is a plus but not mandatory.
- Attention to detail and a willingness to take direction.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Currently enrolled in a relevant program or pursuing a degree in film, media, or a related field (if applicable).
